The certification is designed to certify an organization’s (company or government entity) ability to design, develop and maintain business applications with the e-Citiz product.

The goal of this program is to enlarge the client’s e-Citiz skillset and gives them access to certified experts in the e-Citiz product. This certification also ensures a homogenous level of knowledge across the client’s organization. In effect, the program introduces an objective framework for evaluating the product expertise of the practitioner and helps e-Citiz clients, partners and consultants develop and manage key e-Citiz skillsets in both product and methodology. For the practitioners, the certification demonstrates their commitment to excellence and ensures recognition of their specialized knowledge and commitment to ongoing professional development. Finally, this certification is the necessary guarantee for the client to develop and design applications using the e-Citiz product and for the provider to minimize his risks on the project.

The program involves three levels of certification, which correspond to different levels of experience and knowledge.

Each level corresponds to a different level of product mastery and validates the previous level of mastery.

It is open to all e-Citiz users: from clients and consultants to freelance developers and e-Citiz employees.

A certification is linked to a major e-Citiz release.

Bronze Certification

The Bronze Certification is awarded to an organization when at least two employees have attended the e-Citiz training.

This certification ensures the skills necessary to develop simple applications with e-Citiz. It does not ensure the ability to design and develop complex applications.

Silver Certification

The Silver Certification is awarded after a half-day exam on functional knowledge of e-Citiz models. This exam has been designed by e-Citiz experts and is based on the most recent official version of the product, on the best practices and most recent updates to the methodology.

For an organization to be awarded the Silver Certification, at least two employees must obtain a passing score of 60%.

This certification requires experience with using e-Citiz for application development. It is not advisable to take this exam immediately after the initial training (Bronze Certification).

This certification ensures a sufficient level of knowledge of e-Citiz to be able to design an application autonomously (without help from the e-Citiz team). It allows the certification holder to estimate tasks and e-Citiz application workload and meet development requirements.

Gold Certification

Pre-requisite: Silver Certification.

The Gold Certification is awarded after a half-day exam on technical knowledge of e-Citiz models. This exam has been designed by e-Citiz experts and is based on the most recent official version of the product using the default application server (Jboss) and default database (PostgreSQL), on the best practices and most recent updates to the methodology.

For an organization to be awarded the Gold Certification, at least two employees must obtain a passing score of 70%.

This certification requires experience with using e-Citiz for application design – applying all components of a complex architecture. It is not advisable to take this exam immediately after the initial training (Bronze Certification).

This certification ensures a sufficient level of knowledge of e-Citiz to be able to perform all uses of e-Citiz. It allows the certification holder to design common e-services.
